ABOUT THE EXAMINATION

What does the examination include?

The basic ophthalmological examination is a fundamental preventive and diagnostic check. Because the pupils are not dilated, you may drive and resume normal activities immediately afterwards.

It includes history, measurement of current glasses, objective and subjective refraction, tonometry and biomicroscope examination of the conjunctiva, cornea, iris and lens, plus an orientation check of the retina and optic nerve.
